Hottest Trend For Summer 2013 : Go Retro!

Vintage is back in fashion. This summer Go Retro with hippie dresses, jumpsuits, wayfarers and fedora hat to spruce up your look. Here's a dekko at how you can look uber cool in this scorching heat.

The 1940’s is a quintessential time of glamour, a period commemorated fabulously as Hollywood’s Golden Age. And from the striking matte red lips and blush-less face to the stylized hair held back with delicate tortoiseshell combs, the Fall runways paid homage to the era. Both Miu Miu and Louis Vuitton used the time period as inspiration, pairing the dramatic beauty with pencil skirts and ultra-feminine collared tops. And the result is decidedly modern.

Indeed, sunglasses completed the look for many major designers – and retro seemed to be the theme taking center stage. Styles headed to our way in the upcoming season.

If you've got a pair of wide printed pants in your closet (and if you've been listening to me all spring, chances are you do!), try 'em this way tomorrow for a retro look.

80s retro denim and the metallic Commes des Garçons satchel

Characterized by extravagance, the ‘80s mean oversized shoulders, short breezy dresses, t-shirts with colorful prints, opulent accessories or metallic jackets worn with evening dresses and super high-heels. Layered chain necklaces, clip earrings and metallic bracelets shouldn’t miss from your wardrobe if you love ‘80s fashion. Wear them with leggings, shorts in neon shades, and asymmetrical t-shirts. Tulle dresses are the perfect choice for a cocktail. Pair them with a sequined clutch in effervescent shades, a maxi brooch and manicure in electric blue.

Shoulder Pads!
