Hot Trend for 2013 from Pakistan: Statement Sunglasses

Hello My Fashion Geeks!

Big Hot Trend 2013 from Pakistan: Statement Sunglasses

Today, I'm going to show you guys my old & chic shades which are all time favorite. Plus a big hot trend for 2013 i.e 'Statement Sunglasses'. Since the 'Statement Sunglasses' are huge for 2013. I am here to guide you how they look like.

Well, the feeling of this style sunglasses are traditionally more bold. These are usually over-sized or thick fame in bold color. By wearing these crazy urban cool eye-wear you could beat the scorching heat this summer 2013. Here, the climate of Pakistan is extremely hot, it has recorded one of the highest temperatures in the world. At least these sunnies could beat the hot sun around.

Oversized Sunnies

My Over-sized sunnies are less expensive. These cost me PKR 1495 as these are made in China. Originally, the quality is comparably like high ended eye-wear. It's been almost  two years I'm wearing and putting these recklessly. I used to spend much money on local designer wear not on accessories like sunglasses. But this year 2013, I'm planning to buy new sunglasses. I guess I'm little bored of wearing these.

To me, Sunglasses are the fun way to finish off your look. Perhaps these type of sunglasses could definitely add more fun and edge to any outfit!

Hopefully, you will like this post and also my shades & poses :p

Chopped Off!

Hello My Fashion Geeks!

Finally I had chopped off my signature long hair. This is an attempt to get new me in this year 2013. It’s the shortest it’s ever been and I am desperately trying to look Retro. It's insane to people around me especially my mom. Though it's hard to cut 14th inches strands. But I really satisfied from this crazy act. Actually my poor long hair was getting weaker, and I was facing hairfall. Then I decided to chop off. Hopefully, this will make my hair grow healthy.

I've cut off all of my hair

Today I went to our family's favorite hair salon named 'Lily at Westridge Bazar, Rawalpindi'. She's is a Chinese hair dresser. Lily is good in cutting and other hair treatmentl. This made me to relied on her experience. The moment she was ready to cut my hair, she smiled and said that she still remembered my childhood hair cutting. Truthfully, she is cutting my hair since ages when I was kid, now  I'm almost 28 -*sigh* time flies.

An attempt to get new me in this year 2013

Anyways, I.m totally feeling fresh and new. I think every girl should try this long Bob with bangs. Bob hairstyles remain a hot hairstyle trend for 2013. So do try it ladies. I get inspired by many celebs like Jennifer Aniston and Anne Hathaway, two of these diva's bob have their own charm and attract me towards their hairstyles. And yes! finally I adopted this hottest trend for 2013. Yayyy

Long Straight Hairstyle Vs Long Bob Haircut!

Guys! this Bob suits me or not?

Your thoughts about my new look are most welcome.

Hope you will appreciate this post. Do comment :)

Fashion & Color Trends 2013 From Pakistan

Hey My Fashion Geeks!

Desi Fashion & Color Trends Spring Summer 2013

This time I'm posting few major Pakistani & Indian fashion trends for this spring and summer 2013. The Pakistani fashion is dynamic in nature as compare to western fashion since half a decade. A Pakistani Woman is more bold and confident in this digital age. She likes to experiment and love to play with her own look.  Plus she really good in stylizing her mother, sisters and friends. So to me  every Pakistani girl is a designer and carry fashion in trendy way. So ladies who are really lusting for fashion. Here are the Spring Summer 2013's most wearable trends in 'Desi' mode.

Lusting for Emerald

This year Pantone announced 2013 color of the year PANTONE 17-5641 Emerald. This Green is lively, balanced, healing, renewing, sophisticated, luxurious, classically elegant and vivid. So I think every women could easily carry this 2013 color of the year "Emerald". Because it's cool, made for summer and perfect for women. So wear it and beat the heat in this scorching summer 2013.

Get Graphic

Go bold or go home. Whether you prefer trompe l'oeil, like Mary Katrantzou's stamp and banknote-inspired designs, or symmetrical swirls, as referenced by Holly Fulton, keep accessories to a minimum and let the print shine. It's very easy to attain this look because we usually wear printed clothes every season as casual wear. We are the daddy of textile industry. We manufacture cotton and lawn with glorious prints. Gul Ahmed is the daddy of printed clothes here in Pakistan. I love their design they come up every season with lots of themes like floral and digital art. So grab tones of graphic print clothe this summer.

Clean Cuts

The Clean cuts are more towards simple cuts. Going for clean cuts, and interesting angels, designers like Khaadi and Ego spiced up their simple creations with either bold colors, intricate cuts or interesting fabrics. These could be slim silhouette from 60's. So be Sexy 60's.

Ralli (Applique & Cutwork)

Yet again, Ralli (applique & cutwork) will make you girls to own these sort of apparels. So I really like to suggest you girls to get these sort of patterns. And show the world you girls are also truly traditional. This may preserves our heritage. So wear it, love it and go Ethnic this spring & summer 2013.

Say Yes To 'Shalwar'

This year 2013, say no to trousers. Go Pakistani - wear "Shalwar Kameez". The shalwars are back in fashion in a big way. I hope many people find it interesting. And I know you must be happy to know that these are back. Because there are many ladies most of them are over age women who were  really felt uncomfortable to wear trousers and they were stuck with shalwars. But this year these type of ladies will rock this summer. So ladies play with it by coordinating shalwar with your shirts and dupttas. You could wear these in printed or embroidered way. It's up to you. Girls! Say yes to Shalwar.

Silk Coti (Silk Vest)

The silk is all time favorite among women for each season plus for wedding season. This spring do  wear Silk vest in a desi way. You could get these cotis from handicraft shops as well. Or you could tailored it by demonstrating your expert tailors as well. Although it's little technical but I grantee you, you will find it more charming. So stunned by wearing it with a solid color shirt. Mind it, if you wear coti with a busy dizzy printed shirt this may ruined your entire look and will destruct other person eyes. Be careful while picking the right color.

Bold Strips

If those Rorschach-esque digital prints are too OTT for your style, take spring’s big, bold, uncomplicated stripes for a spin instead. With denim, they’re all-American; with navy, they’re nautical-chic; and worn head-to-toe, they’re just plain cool. Bonus: You’ll definitely be able to wear them for seasons—even years—to come.

Overtone

A blending sense of movement overlap dark and light creating breezy fluidity. This is the season to get inspired by the whole trend of the sheer overlay with contrast color underneath, as shown below. I remember, this was a big hot trend in the end 90's. I still have couple of suits in my closet. Last Eid Generation picked this theme and showcased that chic collection. The entire collection was belonged to this technique. It looks good with sheer fabrics like french chiffon or organza.

Statement Buttons

The statement buttons, provide a clear focal point that accentuates the beauty, and overall balance, of a fashion centerpiece. Sewed them on a bold solid color. These are easily available from a lace shops with affordable price. The price could be vary city to city or place to place. These are perfect  for  enhancing your dress fabric quality. So be a queen and set your style statement this year 2013.

Flats and Low Heels

Sexy ’90s pointy heels are back and have been modernized with everything from dainty ankle straps to cylindrical heels. There will always be a moment for four-inch pumps (and that moment is date night), but these ladylike heels are such a nice option to have on hand. Extra cool points if you wear them with slouchy boyfriend jeans or Bermuda shorts to brunch with the girls.

Statement Sunglasses

Want to add a runway feel to your everyday basics? Pick up a pair of spring’s OMG-worthy sunglasses like 'Olala Glasses' . They hit the runway in every shape and size, each pair louder and more fabulous than the next. (Case in point: Google’s augmented reality glasses even took a turn on the catwalk.)
